Easy-fit slouch (free pattern)
It is that time of the year when a hat is more than welcomed and needed! My son asked a simple and slouchy hat. His only requirement was the hat to be designed in a way to avoid smashing his hairstyle.
The simple design I came up with is ribbed 1×1 hat brim and then half and half stokinette stitch and same 1×1 rib.
He loves it!
Materials:
Artfil Yarn; Ombré – 100% Fine Merino Superwash; 354 m ( 387 yds) /100 g – or approx. 75g. of Fingering weight yarn. (shown here in Lime )
Needles: US 6 (4.0 mm), 32 in. or more circular.
