PATTERN INFO

Mojave [Mo-Hah-Vee] is a knitting pattern for a practical pair of socks with clean design, and unisex usefulness that will highlight the beauty of a hand-dyed yarn without being too simple or boring to knit.
The pattern is written for using circular needles and magic – loop method.
It is a great introduction to Toe-Up socks knitting and Afterthought Heel.

• MC – 1 skein of BELLE by ARTFIL, col. Mojave (80% Merino SW/ 20% Nylon; 354 m 100 g. or approx. 250-350m of fingering weight yarn (will vary depending on the size of your socks

MATERIALS:

• US 1.5 (2.50 mm) 32”-40” circular needles or size to obtain gauge.
• Darning needle
• Scrap yarn in contrast colour
• Stitch marker(s) – optional

Small 6.5″/16.5cm unstretched, 8″/20.25cm stretched
Medium 8″/20.25cm unstretched, 10″/25.5cm stretched
Large 9″/22.75cm unstretched, 11″/28cm stretched

GAUGE
28 stitches and 32 rows per 4″/10 cm
Measured over stockinet stitch in the round.
